L. Matthew Dobson is a civil litigation and personal injury attorney who represents individuals, families, and businesses in complex legal disputes throughout Oklahoma. With substantial trial experience in state and federal courts across Oklahoma, he focuses his practice on high-stakes civil litigation and serious personal injury matters, including cases involving negligence, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and significant financial loss. 

His practice includes cases that require strategic advocacy, careful preparation, and a steady courtroom presence. Whether he is representing an injured client or handling a complex civil dispute, he brings a practical approach shaped by trial experience and close attention to details.

Matt serves on the Executive Council of the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame and is a member of the selection committee for the Paycom Jim Thorpe Award, presented each year to the nation’s top collegiate defensive back. He also serves as the Chair of the Litigation Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association.

Before entering the legal profession, Matt played collegiate baseball at Wichita State University and was selected by the Cleveland Indians in the 1993 Major League Baseball Draft. Outside the office Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters and competing in regional bass fishing tournaments.
